I was inspired by The Down Syndrome Association of DE when I saw that they hosted family photos for families who are blessed with an individual with Down Syndrome. I wanted to bring that magic and inclusion to our farm and reached out to friend and talented photographer Rachel of Rachel Sea Photography to see if she'd be willing to donate her time and skill for a similar reason. Luckily for all of us -- she agreed!
Introducing our first annual Inclusion Revolution photo sesh on the farm! These mini-photoshoots are available to all families who have a person of differing ability in their family (it is not limited to those with Down Syndrome, though of course we love our friends with extra chromosomes!). These sessions are short - 10-15 minutes tops - and you'll get a handful of beautiful images to use in any way that you see fit. (I'm thinking Holiday Cards or gifts would be amazing!). This is definitely a family affair so you may bring siblings, grandparents, or others who you would want in your pictures (keeping in mind the timeframe is short, so come ready to rock!).
This event is complimentary but if you're so inclined you may absolutely leave Rachel a cash gratuity at the time of your photos. It's not expected, but it's an option for those of you who feel moved to do so. In addition, we know sometimes things come up and plans change - but because this event will have a lot of moving parts and a lot of heart and soul behind it, we do kindly ask that if you book a time and cannot make it that you let us know so we can fill it with someone who can attend.
